I do not seek to write a poem
The poem seeks to write me.

There is a loneliness unmirrored 
       by the bustling life around
Abounding, strangely, in a world
       that echoes sound on sound.

It crouches in a corner place.
It haunts the halls of seminars.
It never leaves the ambience.
It whispers in the corridors....
